Mallory (she/her) is a certified wedding and event planner and owner of WasteKnot Weddings and Events. Her unique company provides earth-conscious planning and coordination services in the lower mainland in BC.

She believes every celebration or gathering has an opportunity to be responsible to our planet by helping lower the environmental impact through strategic planning and creativity. Mallory is also a certified yoga instructor, a dance and musical theatre instructor, and is a member of several organizations for both sustainable event planners and female entrepreneurs.

Laureen Nowlan-Card has had a successful career as a lawyer and has repurposed her skills to support professional women in business and leadership.  She is the creator of Heart of the Heroine, a Certified Women’s Empowerment Coach (since 2014), an Emotional Liberation Facilitator (since 2017), Speaker Trainer (since 2016), Podcast Host, Yogini and devoted Mom.
